Harper is officially three now! She turned three Thursday amidst a week-ending of fun festivities! We had our traditional Birthday breakfast and present fun, school party, grilling out at night, her Little Gym party with family and friends, and topped it all off with a trip to the Baldwin County Fair! Whew!
Here are Harper and her BFF/Cousin William. They take Little Gym class together and love it so much we had their party there. William is a week younger than Harper, so it worked out great! Except for a few tantrums from Harper b/c a candle was blown out before she was ready, it was a ball! Their little preschool friends were so cute, and it was a successful first party with friends.
The other day we realized we had taken no great pictures on our camera of our family of FIVE! So, here is our first attempt:
This is Harper and I at her party at school. She asked for Rapunzel decor for her special snack time at school. It was really fun to see her with her teacher, Miss CeCe.
Harper is such a special little girl. Ever heard that poem about Nora who had a curl on her head and when she was good she was very very good and when she was bad she was horrid? yeah.... Harper makes me laugh when she wants me to. She has the funniest faces, and thinks funny and acts funny, or she can be the most determined child. She likes things that twirl and touch the ground, and thinks if we aren't in dresses we aren't a princess. She knows all the words to every song from Sound of Music, and loves to act and dance, but only on her terms. She is going to be the child that teaches Lee and I a lot about parenting! We love our little Harper, and can't WAIT to see what she sets her mind to be!
