Yesterday was a big day around our house. Not only was Birthday Day was over (whew!), it was first day of 4K and 4K Ballet! This is Sophie's second year in Preschool and Ballet, and what a difference a year makes. Last year on this day I had one tight little finger wrapped around my pinky, blinking her eyes very heavily because shyness was setting in. Yesterday morning, we couldn't get ready fast enough! Sophie didn't want help finding her seat, and gave her new teacher a big hug when she left. It was so cute, but it is definitely a sign she is growing up! It was a little sad to know she almost in big school.
Our next event was our first day of Ballet for the year. Again, last year was a little clingy heading into class. This year was hilarious. She had the big girl tights with the little footless things and it was a hit with all the little four year olds. She learned to point her leg while holding it up... and she was very proud!
No! Harper can't be turning two. Your girls are so sweet. I just love them.
